Found in 2012, Ensemble Taiwanese Recorder is consist of a group of young and the honor of Doctor of Musical Arts. To bring high quality performance is the ultimate goal of ETR. In 2012/12, ETR attended the 8th Taiwanese Recorder competition and received golden prize. In 2013/05, ETR was invited to perform in Chuncheon International Early Music Festival Korea. In 2013/09, ETR was invited to perform in the 4the International Early Music Seminar Tel-Aviv.

The Octmusic Recorder has been serving as a web information platform for all the recorder players In Taiwan since 2003. The Founder Powlin Hsien Hung, Lin has his original idea of establishing communication, exchanging information beforehand. It is consider a great task to pass out information and then, developing concert event through out Octmusic to all recorder players.
In 2011 Octmusic invites recorderist Chingwei Lin as a music director to recruit and cooperate musicians for all the music events. In this wonderful fall, we are happy to announce as Ensemble Octmusic Taiwan in the very first Asian Recorder Festival 2013 Osaka Japan.
